Have you been through relocation before? immigration?
Maybe you’ve always dreamt of a relaxed life with your lovely routine, stable job (an actually good one), and some love.
Me?
I’ve always looked at the world map with big googly eyes. 👀
My greatest strength is (I hope) creative storytelling, and I have sharpened it over 8 years of tour guiding in Israel, the ever-changing country.
Join me as I reinvent myself into a relocation blogger and tell you all the secrets I find during the journey to prepare for the relocation and find a new home with the family
I realized, following the October 7th (2023) horrible events and the war they started, that our peaceful lives in the Kibbutz up north, protesting every Saturday and then carrying on, were gone.
I couldn’t continue telling myself that it would all be alright, because everything was not alright. I couldn’t feel safe and couldn’t stand watching the news, and people around me who were “untouched” by the tragedies were starting to fall apart. I wasn’t even sure what was worse. That, or “being strong” and staying home where you hear missiles above your head and get used to it.
The only question to ask now was:
what’s next? relocation? to where?
Then, I noticed something weird.
Many people around me were whispering the same thoughts and feelings as me –
along with the mourning, despair, and terror, many of us also saw a way out.
Others see it as giving up, I see it as giving HOPE
And I have to say, no matter where I’m at, I always want to be a part of something bigger and be helpful. It’s just a part of who I am.
This is why I decided to share my relocation preparation with all of you, here. I know that between me and my husband, we have many questions and my research skills are going to be 100% on that, so why shouldn’t everyone enjoy the findings? It’s not like I have work to do anyways…
Hope you enjoy and subscribe
